Body Art Safety
Once you’ve decided on your bodyart, you may want to ask your artist a few questions. Ask him or her to use an autoclave to clean all equipment and request an aftercare sheet to read before getting tattooed or pierced. It’s also important to be aware of the proper safety steps that reputable artist should be taking. A good artist will always wear gloves during the procedure, will always use new containers of ink that are portioned out for individual use, and will always use needles that are sterilized in individual packages and opened in front of you.
