Why Is It important? Vitamin E is gained mostly through food. It is used for cell communication, keeping the immune system strong and forming red blood cells. Much like vitamin D helps the body use calcium, vitamin E helps the body use vitamin K.

Foods: Vitamin E can be found in sources like vegetable oils, nuts and seeds, green vegetables and enriched cereals.
