Contact Lens Care
This is a common and natural concern, but it may help to first get used to touching your eyes without applying your lenses. One very successful technique is to place a warm (not hot) drop of water on your index finger and try to touch your eye. The water will have a numbing effect, so much so that you may not even feel your finger touch your eye. If needed, your eye doctor may also decide to use numbing drops to ease insertion.
