Exercise Tips for People with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Tai Chi

Tai chi or Taijiquan is a Chinese martial art that is highlighted by the Arthritis Foundation as a good exercise for people with rheumatoid arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation says that practicing tai chi might help to reduce some of the stress that comes with RA, to improve flexibility and to increase overall relaxation. Talk to your doctor to find out if tai chi would be a good physical activity for you.
