According to the New York Times, most arthritis experts recommend walking as an easy exercise to help with symptoms of RA. However, one doctor recommended non-impact activities like rowing machines or stationary bicycles. According to research from 2011, stationary bicycles might also be a good exercise for people with other health conditions like multiple sclerosis.
