According to the Arthritis Foundation, low intensity exercises that have been created for people with RA can help relieve some of the stiffness and pain associated with the condition. Some specific exercises incorporate resistance bands to add some strength training while still maintaining a low impact. Ask your doctor or personal trainer if using resistance bands would be a safe and effective tool for you.
