Consider the Alternatives

Rather than handing out loads of candy to kids who already have enough to last until next year, consider handing out non-food treats to trick-or-treaters. Stickers, temporary tattoos, bubbles, funky pens or pencils, little rubber ducks, and many more little toys make great alternatives to candy and cost about the same. These little gifts will be especially nice for children on restricted diets, like children with diabetes or even kids with braces who aren’t allowed to eat certain types of candy.
