Healthy Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day
Whether you go to a formal tea shop or use your own teapot at home, a “high tea” is a unique thing to share with mom. And there may be health benefits to drinking tea. Tea contains antioxidants, which may combat cell damage from chemicals in the body that contribute to chronic diseases. Tea also contains caffeine, which may improve memory and alertness. A cup of tea may also improve your mood. Several studies have tied the consumption of tea to relaxation and satisfaction — great things for mom to feel on Mother’s Day!
