Seasonal Summer Fruits & Veggies

Sour Cherries

Whether you are baking a special cherry pie for the neighbors or making jam for Sunday mornings, sour cherries are a scrumptious summer fruit. Store unwashed cherries in the fridge for two to three days, then remove seeds and store in freezer for later. Sour cherries are also a good source of vitamin A, and can easily be broken down into syrups and sauces.
