Summer Skin Tips
According to Acne.org, the sun may worsen already present skin conditions. Most acne medications also already dry out the skin, and the summer heat can add to this dryness. Sunscreen may also dry out the skin and cause flaking and peeling, according to Acne.org. For the best results, Acne.org recommends mixing your usual acne cream with sunscreen and a gentle moisturizer. If you are still experiencing dry, flaky or peeling skin, add more moisturizer or use jojoba oil. Talk to your doctor before starting any new skincare regimen.
