Surprising Ways Your Family Affects Your Health
Multiple studies on the impact of siblings continue to reveal how they affect us both physically and emotionally. A study from the University of Missouri found siblings who fought in their adolescence over issues of fairness were more likely to develop depression within the following year. This link was the strongest between girls with brothers or boys with older brothers. Physically, a spectrum of health conditions, such as autism, heart disease and stroke, can be linked between siblings. Pay attention to the health of your siblings to be able to properly monitor your own well-being.
