Tennis Health Benefits

Obesity Odds

Running, swinging, reaching, pivoting — tennis can be a real workout with the right opponent. It's a whole-body sport, and you're constantly on the move. According to the US National Library of Medicine, those who played tennis regularly were less likely to be obese and had a lower body fat average when compared to people who didn’t play tennis. Tennis players were also less likely to smoke and consume large amounts of alcohol, both of which can lead to other health problems.
