What You Need to Know About Hepatitis C
You can’t catch the hepatitis C virus from shaking or holding hands with an infected person or from being coughed or sneezed on, hugging, sitting next to, sharing eating utensils with or sharing food with someone infected with hepatitis C. Additionally, a baby cannot get hepatitis C from breast milk.
