Yoga and Stress

Yoga may relax the nervous system and lower the production of cortisol — sometimes known as the stress hormone. This may help lower heart rate, improve digestion and combat stress. The body’s immune system may also benefit from yoga. Yoga may helping the body fight off insomnia, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
